Never run out of fuel with our Planned Deliveries Service

When you sign up for our Planned Deliveries service we top up your tank as needed to minimise the risk of running out of oil. You will not need to call us up to order your fuel and Powys Petroleum will determine when deliveries are to be made. Backed up by our 12 hour guarantee, if we let you run out of oil for more than 12 hours, we’ll give you 1,000 litres free of charge! *

Don't blame the fuel

Tall Aga & Rayburns are designed to be used with commercial kerosene to burn with a char factor of 5-7bpm. The British Standard allows for up to 20bpm as standard, but no fuel company can guarantee 5-7bpm. If your kerosene is not treated with an additive, such as excoet, then it will cause sooting known as premature carboning. There is nothing wrong with the fuel, it is simply the case that all Aga and Rayburn cookers should have the additive put in with the oil at time of delivery to prevent this. Powys Petroleum sell exocet at £20 + VAT, which will satisfy a delivery of 1000 litres of kerosene.
